The real battle is not left vs. right, nor one political party vs. another. The real battle, in simpler terms, is Balance (good) vs. Unbalance (evil). There is no unbalance (evil, sin nor shame) anywhere in Nature. Nature is balanced and thus a 'seeing' man derives his morality—his power and virtue from its great inspirations. Evil begins with an unbalanced desire—which becomes unbalanced thinking—which finally becomes unbalanced action. The key approach to dealing with unbalance (evil) is to let it fall on its own sword—get out of the way. Cut a clearing, defend against it if you must, but like a balanced (good) fighter, allow your opponents to use their own force of unbalance against themselves—letting them destroy themselves in the end while conserving your energy for more important uses. You cannot fight the wind, but you can take shelter from it. Evil always sows the seeds of its own destruction and always will. Evil is the final expression of unbalance—reaping its own whirlwind, which in truth is Nature's right to the reaction of one's action. Do not interfere! Unbalance after all, is a teacher for all beings. Do not take it upon yourself to upend someone else's lesson, lest you cast upon yourself an unnecessary toll. If man is not free to learn from his own mistakes, what can be gained? All mankind is learning a great lesson at this pivotal time in human history; that which is built on lies, deceit, quicksand and treachery is purposeless, and will annihilate itself in the end. Human desire/will takes place inside each one of us—extending outward to the world. The misuse of desire/will is called sin for lack of a better word. "You reap what you sow" it is said. Balance is directly proportional to what man calls "good" just as unbalance is directly proportional to what man calls "evil." And freewill makes both possible. That my friends, is the real battle. Choose wisely. Matt PrestiMetaAuthor | Philosopher | Seed Sower

My thanks goes out to the University of Science and Philosophy for nearly six years of employment in the best job I've ever had. So much was accomplished! I want to also extend my thanks to the team of people in whom I was fortunate enough to work with on achieving the many goals of my administration. And to the few who said "it couldn't be done," thanks for inspiring me to prove you wrong. 😉 One more special thanks to all of you who supported me along the way. You know who you are! Look at all we've accomplished! The University is being left in good hands with incoming President, John Bonsall. The mission of Preserving the Russell Legacy for all posterity is being accomplished. Onto a bright future ahead! Cheers! 🍻 https://www.philosophy.org/news/meet-the-new-president#/ Matt PrestiPast President, University of Science and Philosophy 2015-2021 |
