Featuring Tom Reiss, former bass player for The Bel-Tones and the Pepsi-Tones (St. Louis, MO). He is currently a professional pyrotechnician, fireworks display operator and shooter. We discuss all things music with his previous gig in the 1960’s and the state of rock-n-roll from that generation—a rare look into an era which defined the music of the coming decades. We also discuss fireworks and pyrotechnica as a profession and an art, what it takes to get licensed, handling fireworks safely, training, working on scene for a display, and finally, sharing some footage of actual displays we’ve done working together over the last three years.
